What to Bring

To prepare for your upcoming fishing trip you will need to have the following in order.

We provide all fishing equipment including the live bait we use, We also take action photos to email customers. We catch and release or put on ice all fish harvested. Customers need to bring  a Virginia Fishing license (kids UNDER age 16 do not need a license), rain gear, camera, sun glasses, whatever you wish to eat and drink, and a cooler for fish. Remember to dress for the weather. Although afternoon temperatures may be warm, the morning run to the chosen fishing area can be quite cool. Always bring more clothes than you think you’ll need.

The customers are responsible for:

1) Fishing license  You will need a temporary or full-year FRESHWATER license. You do not need a trout license.  After you purchase your license, be sure to print it out and bring it with you.

2) Food and drink

3) Suitable clothing, sunscreen, and rain gear.

4) IMPORTANT!!! If you are bringing kids fishing with us, by law you will need to bring size-appropriate life jackets for each child under the age of 13. I am required to have TYPE I Coast Guard life jackets that are not comfortable, not very stylish, and are only in Adult size. I would strongly recommend bringing comfortable, Coast Guard approved life jackets for each child.
